Lynda is a visionary in the home design industry, recently receiving prestigious national recognition for her decades of dedication. Her accolades include:

• 2024 Woman of the Year: Awarded by the Top 100 Registry of Who’s Who in America for her outstanding efforts and achievements in the field of home design.

• Top 100 Executives: Voted into this elite group by Who’s Who in recognition of her continuous professional excellence and leadership.

Beyond her passion for architecture, Lynda is a devotee of travel and music. She has also made a significant mark in the arts as a theatrical producer. Her production of “The Gaslight Cafe: The John Mitchell Story” at the iconic Cutting Room in New York City culminated in a sold-out performance and a resounding standing ovation.

Nora has over 35 years of experience in the log home industry. She not only grew up in a cedar log home, but she also grew up in the log home business. Yes, Nora is Lynda’s daughter, which makes this a family affair.

Nora received her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Slippery Rock University. Her love for education didn’t stop there. She holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance and another Master’s degree in Space Studies. She completed her Ph.D. merely for her love of education and everything space…that is, outer space.

When not working, Nora enjoys spending time with her son, Mason, 22, and playing video games. Nora played wheelchair basketball for almost 20 years for the Pittsburgh Steelwheelers. She helped to co-found the only all-female wheelchair basketball team in Western PA called the Steel City Starz.

Nora and Lynda both have dedicated many hours of their time to spinal cord injury research and awareness. From the Pittsburgh Steelwheelers to the Buoniconti Fund to Cure Paralysis, they have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for many charitable organizations.

Michelle has been a member of our family since she and Nora attended college together 35 years ago. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor of science in Business Management. She had a long career in the newspaper industry before becoming involved with Cedar Direct Log Homes in 2010.

Over the years, Michelle has held various positions with Cedar Direct. She is now the liaison to our dealers and their customers, providing support and coordinating deliveries of our log home packages.

When Michelle is not working, she enjoys studying karate, and she is always up for a good game of billiards or a Texas Hold ‘em tournament.
